Technology at St. Edward
One of the most important missions
at St. Edward is to produce technology literate students
who are lifelong learners able to make informed
decisions about the
role of technology in their lives.
This mission is taught in an atmosphere that is
Catholic and in accordance with the Office of Catholic
Schools, Diocese of San Bernardino Curriculum
Guidelines.
The primary goal for Grades K– 8 students is to
develop the specific technology skills on a
developmental level and the use of applications
and programs
required to be successful at higher education levels.
St. Edward incorporates the use of the latest
technological innovations in both the classroom and a
state of the art computer lab. All classrooms are
equipped with computers and LCD Projectors.

In
addition to grade and subject specific
programs, students are taught to use the
latest Microsoft Windows Operating System
and Microsoft Office Applications.

Interactive whiteboards helps bridge the gap
between today's students and today's teachers
with three levels of classroom performance.
Teachers save and
distribute the entire interactive session, with
one easy click to capture notes written in
virtual ink.
Teachers
ramp up their tried-and-true lesson plans with
powerful subject-specific content tools
including number lines, graphs, maps, calipers,
timers and more.
