to the web site of the St. Edward School Annual Golf Tournament. This
site was created to promote the tournament within the Corona Business
and Residential Community, and, of course, to all those interested in
playing golf on a great course
The St. Edward's
Annual Golf Tournament was originally started to help raise funds to replace classroom buildings destroyed in an arson fire in the spring of 2001. Thanks to the success of this tournament, construction of the new facilities was completed in time for the 2002-2003 school year.
Although the building was completed for the 2002-2003 school year, a
major portion of the debt still exists and new equipment must continue
to be purchased. In light of this, we continue our fund raising efforts
Whereas other large cities in the Inland Empire, such as Riverside and San Bernardino, offer several Catholic schools, St. Edward's School is the only Catholic school in the fast growing Corona-Norco region, and is heavily dependent on private donations. Serving a combined population of over 150,000, St. Edward's is also
one of the largest schools in the Riverside/San Bernardino diocese.
It is the generosity of the tournament's corporate and private sponsors that make this possible, and for this, we thank you.
